The Office of the Hon. Commissioner for Special Duties, Hon. Oden Ewa, in collaboration with the
Federal Polytechnic, Ugep, is pleased to announce the availability of 150 scholarship slots for
candidates/prospective candidates who wish to study at Federal Polytechnic Ugep, Cross River
State.
This opportunity is aimed at supporting financially disadvantaged students to achieve their
dreams of
quality higher education and attain academic excellence.
Eligibility Criteria
- Open to all Nigerian students admitted in the Federal Polytechnic, Ugep.
- Applicants must have a minimum JAMB score of 100 in the 2024/2025 UTME.
- Applicants must have chosen Federal Polytechnic, Ugep as their first-choice institution or
for
those who did not choose the Institution as first choice, such candidate(s) must effect a
change
of institution and choose Federal Polytechnic Ugep as their first choice.
- Applicants must have a minimum of five (5) credits in relevant subjects, including English
Language and Mathematics.

Required Documents
- Original JAMB Admission Letter
- Polytechnic Admission Letter
- Letter of attestation from any of the following:
- Traditional leaders
- Clergy men
- Serving civil servant not below level 12
- Certificate of state/LGA of origin
- WAEC/NECO result
Mode of Application
Applicants are to:
- Obtain the scholarship application form from the Registry, campus 2 (Community Secondary
School), Federal Polytechnic, Ugep.
- Submit the completed form and other required documents.
Application Deadline
All applications must be submitted not later than January 31, 2025.
Note that only the first 150 applicants would be considered.
